Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bethlehem, an IHG Hotel

So close to 5 stars but sadly two things were not great. 1. Hair on the vanity. No long head hair but beard maybe. Gross! 2. The pool, needs a good old cleaning. The bottom is scuzzy and there was hair or something floating all over the surface of the water. The floors around the pool were dry so it was not as if people just got out. Other than those two things, this place was fantastic! The employees were polite, knowledgeable and friendly. If you are in the area and need a room, this IS the place to go. Thank you to all who have kept this establishment in great condition and friendly.

On Oct 18th I reserved a room for immediate check-in. Once I arrived at the facility from 12hr plus shift of driving. I was ready for a hot shower and some sleep. The front desk female employee ( light skin, skinny) was not welcoming and was on her cellphone on what to seem to be a personal call (not urgent). She looked like I was bothering her. I proceeded with my check in information. Then was told there were no rooms available. I asked how long for a room to be available? She replied "3pm." The current time was 1140. I was so tired. My father just passed away the month prior. I was an hour plus thought to ask an employee a young man early 20's and I asked if there where any rooms available? He, said "Yes, is this why you sitting here in the lobby for all this time?!" I embarrassed said, yes. He said, he would get the manager for me. Shortly after a manager walked to the front and spoke with the rude lady. Then I was called over and said a room was available. I never spoke with the manager. Thanks God for the nice young man. I would never go to this hotel again. I have pic of the worker on the phone and I'm upset I can't upload the pictures
